Formed in 1971, Wexford Sub Aqua Club has been exploring the underwater world off the southeast coast for over forty years. Below the surface is a rich and varied landscape, teeming with abundant marine life. Based in Kilmore Quay, a quaint fishing village surrounded by a stretch of water which has earned itself the title of “graveyard of a thousand ships” down through the years, there is a choice of wreck diving in the area. The Saltee Islands provide a magnificent backdrop to some of our dive sites with an array of seabirds such as gannets, puffins and even the odd razorbill who plunge underwater to say hello while we are diving. There is plenty to suit all divers from the novice to the advanced diver.
